Bring food and hope to Haiti's starving poor
Donation protected
Haiti is in political and social economic crises. People in urban areas are being kidnapped and murdered for ransom. Even those considered middle class are experiencing food insecurity due to extremely high unemployment, food scarcity and fear of robbery.

Haiti has long been the poorest country in the western hemisphere and of the world as well. Currently, with the whole country in political crises, simply surviving is extremely difficult with kidnapping and murder running rampant. The Haitian people are desperate for life's basic necessities.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society, especially any of Haiti's estimated 1.2 million orphans.

Our Haitian ministry, E&W United of the Hearts, provides emergency food, water, personal hygiene and medical supplies to the people. We also build orphanages, schools, churches and medical clinics in these rural areas.

Life for the average Haitian is severe, but there is a group of forgotten people for whom life is even more difficult. These people live in such a rural and remote location that just getting there is challenging. They live over this mountain.

The road is very rough and steep in places as shown in the following photos. Only the toughest 4x4 can make and tolerate the trip. Because of this, we are in great need of a tough, dependable 4x4 that can survive regular weekly trips over this rugged terrain.

People in these rural areas face dire circumstances. Many have very little food and the only water they have is the local river, which is used for bathing, clothes washing, livestock watering, as well as drinking and cooking. Many of their physical ailments are due to contaminated water. Often their only food is mud cakes.

Due to the severely poor road conditions, tough dependable 4x4 transportation is essential to transport food, people and building supplies to this area.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to purchase this Toyota Landcruiser (or one similar to it) so that we have tough dependable transportation that will enable us to be able to get the needed supplies to our newest mission community in Soliette. With it, we will be able make regular deliveries of food, water, medical and building supplies and provide transportation for construction workers and missionaries.

The need is critical. Will you help bring hope to these suffering people? Please donate today. The vehicle will be put into use as soon as it is purchased. We and the Haitian people appreciate you more than you can possibly imagine! Thank you for helping these desperate people!
