Welcome to the launch of FilkConbobulated, June 26-28 2026, a relaxacon filk convention right here in the (very nearly, it's Des Moines, IA) center of the North America. We haven't had a Filk convention in this region in years, and we, as a community, missed that very much. As shown by the amazing (no, seriously, thank you all so much for the positive vibes) response when we put this idea out to the Filk community.

This fundraiser is for year 1 of the FilkConbobulated convention. We are a 501 (c) 3 centered around sharing music and recognizing excellence in filk.

Here's how it's going to work:

We will have several tiers of possible donation, much like a kickstarter. Kickstarter doesn't allow for charitable fund raising, so we're doing this manually.

Tier 1- Badge Purchase - $50.00. This gets you your badge for the convention. Once the campaign is concluded, we will be emailing the list of badge holders for the "badge name, legal name, etc" information for your membership.

Tier 2- Supporting Membership - $25.00. This is lower than a badge purchase, and will not get you a badge BUT you'll be able to help get this convention started so you have the opportunity to attend in future years, should you so choose.

Tier 3- Filk Fam - Whatever you want. Another kind of supporting membership, adjusting for budget. Life is rough out there, and we know there are members of the filk family that would like to help, but wouldn't be able to attend. This allows for donations of all budgets, and a hearty thank you from the concom! Lizzie may even knit something for you!
