My name is **John Krasowski**, and in 2024 my life changed completely when I suffered a stroke. I spent around **nine months in hospital**, facing a long and difficult road to recovery.

Coming out of hospital gave me a new determination to return to something that has always meant a great deal to me — **creating games and music**.

I have loved the Commodore Amiga since the 1990s, and back then my biggest passions were making music, experimenting with game development, and playing the incredible games that made the Amiga such a special computer.

One game that always stayed with me was **Fears**, the classic Amiga first-person shooter originally released in **1995**. It was one of my all-time favourite Amiga games, and after leaving hospital I decided to turn my recovery and creativity into something positive by developing my own modern tribute and remake: **Fears Reloaded**.

Fears Reloaded is being created for fellow **Amiga and retro gaming fans** who, like me, still love the atmosphere, graphics, music and imagination of that era.

This is my first major game remake project, and my aim is to take the spirit of the original Fears and expand it into something much bigger. The completed version of **Fears Reloaded** is planned to include **more maps, more enemies, new environments, improved graphics, music, sound effects and additional gameplay features**.

One of my biggest goals is accessibility. When the final version is ready, I want players to be able to launch **Fears Reloaded directly inside their web browser**, without downloading or installing anything. The game will be hosted on my own servers so players can simply visit the website and start playing.

This project has become much more than just making a game. After everything I went through following my stroke, working on Fears Reloaded has given me something creative to focus on and has helped me reconnect with the things I have loved for most of my life — **Amiga games, retro computing, game development and music**.

Any support through this GoFundMe will help me continue developing the game, create more levels and enemies, improve the artwork and audio, and cover the costs involved in hosting and developing the browser version.
