Hello everyone, I would like to start off by thanking everyone who has taken the time to read this and hear my sister, Fabiola Garcia Guzman's story. My name is Yuliana Garcia Guzman. I'm writing this on behalf of her husband, Francisco Sabino, who due to the language barrier is unable to write so himself. My sister attended what was supposed to be a routine ICE check-in appointment, which is something she faithfully attended for years. Unfortunately, we were separated, and that is when ICE officers detained her without me knowing. Fabiola has been in the U.S. for 10 years due to being an asylum seeker and has devoted her stay here to solely provide for her three kids and in hopes to give them the future they deserve. She has been their provider and protector, as has her husband. They created a household that is resilient, stable, and loving. Her youngest daughter suffers from epilepsy and is incredibly dependent on her mother for comfort, support, and care. The two youngest are attached to the hip to their mom and miss their mom in ways no child should have to. One of the most diligent people we know is their mother. If it means putting food on the table and supporting her children, she has never considered any work beneath her. Every family gathering is brightened by her and is the light of our family. Her home is empty, sad, and incomplete. Our family humbly requests assistance in paying for necessary household expenses, legal fees, and maintaining contact with Fabiola throughout her incarceration. If you are able to donate, share, or simply keep our family in your prayers, we are deeply grateful. We just want to bring her back home safe. Hola a todos, quisiera comenzar agradeciendo a todos los que se tomaron el tiempo de leer esto y escuchar la historia de mi hermana, Fabiola García Guzmán. Mi nombre es Yuliana García Guzmán. Escribo esto en nombre de su esposo, Francisco Sabino, quien debido a la barrera del idioma no puede escribir. Mi hermana asistió a lo que se suponía era una cita de registro de rutina con ICE, a la que asistió fielmente durante años. Desafortunadamente, nos separaron, y fue entonces cuando los oficiales de ICE la detuvieron sin que yo lo supiera. Su hija menor sufre de epilepsia y depende increíblemente de su madre para su consuelo, apoyo y cuidado. Los dos más pequeños son muy unidos a su madre y la extrañan como ningún niño debería. Una de las personas más diligentes que conocemos es su madre. Si eso significa poner comida en la mesa y mantener a sus hijos, nunca ha considerado ningún trabajo inferior a ella. Ella ilumina cada reunión familiar y es la luz de nuestra familia. Su hogar está vacío, triste e incompleto. Nuestra familia solicita humildemente ayuda para cubrir los gastos necesarios del hogar, los honorarios legales y para mantener el contacto con Fabiola durante su encarcelamiento. Si puede donar, compartir o simplemente orar por nuestra familia, le estamos profundamente agradecidos. Solo queremos que regrese a casa sana y salva.
