THE STORY OF EXHAUSTED

Why I’m making this — and why I’m asking for your help.

Three years ago, if you told me I’d be here — sober, rebuilding my life, juggling a family car-service business, raising two neurodivergent kids, and somehow writing a TV show about all of it — I’d have laughed… or cried… or both.

But life has a funny way of handing you a plot twist and saying, “Okay, now grow.”

Exhausted is the story I wish existed when everything in my world fell apart and I had to figure out who I was again — not the person I pretended to be, but the one underneath all the noise. It’s a half-hour dramedy about a dad named Rob who’s trying to stay sober, keep his family afloat, and run a private car service that is one flat tire away from collapse. Along the way, he starts noticing the same neurodivergent traits in himself that are showing up in his kids. It’s messy, funny, painful, hopeful — and very, very real.

I wrote this show because I wanted to tell a story about the kind of families people overlook.

Families who don’t fit the TV mold.

Families where everyone is doing the best they can with whatever bandwidth life left them that day.

Families that are tired — but still trying.

And I want to make this show honest. That’s why I’m raising money to film a few key scenes of the pilot — scenes that capture the tone, the humor, the heart, and the absolute chaos of this world. These scenes will be shot professionally with real actors, a director, a cinematographer, and a small but mighty crew. They’ll become the proof-of-concept I need to pitch this show to studios, reps, and contests — something tangible enough to say:

“This is what the show feels like. Here’s why it matters.”
