For years, I’ve been quietly inventing solutions to everyday problems—ideas born from lived experience, frustration, humor, and practicality. These aren’t just ideas on paper. They are thoughtfully designed solutions ready for prototyping, engineering refinement, app development, manufacturing prep, and legal, patent, and startup costs. One of my inventions, the I’ll Dry Machine, is designed to dry dishes faster, more hygienically, and with less energy in a compact, practical way. I’ve also created a flip-flop innovation that solves a problem nearly everyone who wears flip-flops has experienced: broken straps, discomfort, and shoes becoming unwearable far too quickly. In addition, I’m building SmartMouth Maps, a navigation app that gives directions with personality, humor, and attitude because sometimes laughter makes even traffic easier to handle. Each of these projects addresses a real gap in everyday life. Together, they represent years of thinking, observing, designing, and believing that ordinary problems deserve better solutions.
What I don’t have is access to large investors, wealthy connections, or a safety net. What I do have is grit, work ethic, lived experience, and an unshakable belief that these ideas deserve a chance. Starting from the ground up, especially as a woman, a mother, and a solo founder, is expensive. Funding will go directly toward prototypes and product testing, app development and UX design, manufacturing samples, legal and patent expenses, and branding and launch preparation. Supporting this fundraiser isn’t just helping fund inventions, it’s helping someone who spent a lifetime putting others first finally bet on herself. It’s helping prove that dreams don’t expire, creativity doesn’t have an age limit, and motherhood doesn’t erase ambition, it delays it. Whether you donate, share, or simply cheer me on, you are becoming part of this journey. And I promise to honor every ounce of support by giving this dream everything I have. Thank you for believing in me and in the power of ideas born from real life. With gratitude, Tinikka.
