Esmeralda Kucukova was a vibrant spirit who brought adventure, laughter, and love to everyone she met. Adopted from Latvia as a child, she faced many challenges early in life, including being kicked out of her childhood home for being gay as a teenager. She was only allowed to leave with the clothes on her back. Despite these hardships, Ez’s resilience and kindness shone through. She found a new family with Anthony and Christa Haney and their children, who welcomed her with open arms and hearts. Ez quickly became an irreplaceable part of the Haney family, filling their lives with joy, chaos, bonfires, and countless Star Wars reenactments. Her humor, love for the outdoors, and fearless approach to life inspired everyone around her. Ez served in the Marine’s for four years and later settled in California, where she pursued her passion for computer programming and embraced new adventures. Her sudden passing has left her family devastated and facing unexpected expenses. The costs of cremation, travel for four family members, and transporting Ez’s belongings and ashes from California to Georgia have created a significant financial burden during an already heartbreaking time. Any support you can offer will help The Haney family honor Ez’s memory and bring her home. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference as they navigate this loss and work to celebrate the bright light Ez brought into their lives. The family is deeply grateful for any help during this difficult time.
