In Loving Memory of Eduardo Velázquez

Hello, my name is Lucy Rojas, and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our family to help cover the funeral expenses of our beloved cousin, Eduardo Velázquez, who was only 26 years old.

Our hearts are shattered as we try to process this tragic and unexpected loss. Eduardo was a loving son, a devoted father, and a kind friend who touched the lives of everyone around him. He leaves behind two beautiful children — a 6-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son — who were the light of his life.

At this moment, the details surrounding his passing are still under investigation. What we know is that it is being treated as a homicide, and our family is heartbroken and searching for answers.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral costs and to transport Eduardo’s body to Mexico, so that his parents and family can say their final goodbyes and lay him to rest in his hometown. His parents are devastated, in shock, and in deep pain, unable to be here to see their son one last time.

Hola, mi nombre es Lucy Rojas, y estoy creando este GoFundMe en nombre de nuestra familia para ayudar a cubrir los gastos funerarios de nuestro querido primo, Eduardo Velázquez, quien tenía solo 26 años.

Nuestros corazones están destrozados al tratar de entender esta trágica y repentina pérdida. Eduardo fue un hijo amoroso, un padre dedicado y un amigo con un gran corazón que siempre dejaba huella en quienes lo conocían. Deja atrás a dos hermosos hijos — una niña de 6 años y un niño de 2 — que eran la luz de su vida.

En este momento, los detalles sobre su fallecimiento aún están bajo investigación. Lo único que sabemos es que está siendo considerado un homicidio, y nuestra familia está desconsolada y buscando respuestas.

Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos del funeral y poder trasladar el cuerpo de Eduardo a México, para que sus padres y familiares puedan darle el último adiós y despedirse de él en su tierra natal. Sus padres están en shock, con un dolor inmenso por no poder estar aquí para ver a su hijo una última vez.
