Djox is not only an exceptional athlete but also a genuinely great person. Djox consistently demonstrates qualities that are crucial in both sports and life. He is kind and thoughtful in all of his interactions. His quiet demeanor reflects a level of self-awareness and respect for his teammates and coaches, which creates a positive and focused training environment. His infinite humbleness truly sets him apart.

In addition to his respectful nature, Djox is one of the hardest-working individuals I have encountered. He approaches every training session with dedication and determination, showcasing an unwavering commitment to improving his skills. His controlled approach to competition is impressive; he competes with a level of poise and sportsmanship that truly sets him apart. While Djox is a successful competitor, I believe his character and conduct outside the ring are what truly define him. He embodies the spirit of a true martial artist—striving not only to be the best fighter he can be but also to uplift and inspire those around him, constantly leading by example. Djox is an individual of great integrity, character, and talent and it has been an honor to train alongside him. He is sorely missed.

Recently, Djox was detained by ICE after going for his regular check-in, leaving his wife and daughter without his support. He is from the Congo and is a devoted Christian who has become an important part of our gym community. The funds raised will go directly toward paying for an attorney and covering his bond amount, so he can return to his family and continue the positive influence he has already demonstrated.
