Como familia, estamos atravesando uno de los momentos más duros de nuestras vidas. Diego fue detenido por inmigración de forma inesperada, dejando a su madre, Adriana Naranjo, y a todos nosotros con un profundo dolor y una carga enorme que no estábamos preparados para enfrentar. Él no ha cometido ningún delito. Es una persona noble, tranquila y muy querida. En medio del impacto, nos toca ahora buscar abogados, enfrentar gastos legales muy costosos y tratar de hacer lo imposible para que pueda volver a casa. Esta campaña nace desde el amor de una madre y de toda una familia unida, que hoy necesita del apoyo de quienes puedan y quieran colaborar. Gracias por estar, por donar o simplemente por compartir.

As a family, we are going through one of the most difficult moments of our lives. Diego was unexpectedly detained by immigration, leaving his mother, Adriana Naranjo, and all of us heartbroken and facing a heavy burden we were not prepared for. He has not committed any crime. He is a kind, peaceful person, deeply loved by everyone who knows him. In the midst of this emotional storm, we now face the need to hire attorneys and cover very high legal expenses, doing everything in our power to bring him back home. This campaign comes from the love of a mother and an entire family standing together, asking for support from anyone who can help. UPDATE: Diego will be taken to Kentucky Hopkins Detention Center. We are having a consultation with a lawyer Monday 10/27 at 11 am to see the possibilities for Diego. Here are some links to Diego's Story. Thank to everyone that has been donating we are truly appreciative
UPDATE : Diego is now at Hopkins county jail. Due to unexpected extra fees we have to raise the goal because not only it cost more when they’re in custody to represent him but also it’s a different job to fight for his political asylum case which the only option he has at the moment.
