Hi my name is Ady Larsen.

While visiting Mexico earlier this year, I was out in the garden on a rainy early morning. I heard the sound from a small dog’s barking fill the air. The morning light revealed a scrawny puppy with black spirited eyes wandering through our garden. Where did this beautiful creature come from?

I named him Diego. Over the next of couple weeks, we cared for Diego to nurse him back to health as he was severely malnourished. We played and slept together while trying not to fall in love with him. Every day we looked for a new home, a family, and a new life for him in Mexico, until I realized I had already fallen in love this little being. He was with his family already and was meant to be with us in San Francisco.

I could not bring him home with me right away due to finances. I cried on leaving him in Mexico wondering if he will be safe. I long for the day when Diego will be able to come home to me in San Francisco. Will I be able to bring him home? Will he remember me? One can never tell but I believe in my heart that faith has brought us together.

I am asking for financial help to bring Diego to his permanent home with us.

All funds raised will go to Diego’s veterinarian costs, travel expenses to and a safe journey home from Mexico to San Francisco. Will you be able to help me? (We are capping the fundraiser at $7k)
