I am creating this fundraiser for my cousin, Derrick, after our family suffered a heartbreaking loss. On Monday, August 17, Derrick died in a tragic accident in South Dakota. We are still trying to process the shock and pain of losing him so suddenly. Derrick was deeply loved, and this loss has left a hole in our family that words cannot fully express.

The funds raised will help with the cost of bringing Derrick home, covering funeral expenses, and supporting his son, Derrick, as he faces life without his dad. His son is only 21 years old and is now dealing with an unimaginable loss at such a young age. During this incredibly difficult time, any support means so much to us and helps ease some of the burden our family is carrying.
