My nephew DeArrae is a dedicated young man who chose to follow in the footsteps of his father, grandfather, and uncles by joining the military. Throughout his life, he has been a model citizen—never in trouble, always excelling in school, and earning the respect of everyone around him. His commanding officers speak highly of his character, and our family is incredibly proud of all he has accomplished both in and out of the military. DeArrae is truly a 'gentle giant,' known for his kindness and integrity.

Recently, my nephew DeArrae was wrongfully arrested for a crime he did not commit. He has now been in jail for 49 days because the bond set for his release is far beyond what our family can afford. Being out of state, he has no family nearby to support him during this difficult time. We are doing everything we can, but the costs of bond, legal representation, and other fees are overwhelming.
