Help bring Dasha to Canada

Dasha, my dear friend Alexander Tikhnenko’s 23 year-old daughter was very luckily able to flee the war in Kyiv, Ukraine on March 10. She has made it safely to Berlin after a tough, sleepless, 41 hour journey. Let’s help bring Dasha to Canada to reunite her with her dad.

Kingston music fans might recognize Alex as a local musician and by his Monday Jazz Night at Musiiki. He also works as a carpenter at Hawthorne Kitchens. Unfortunately due to the recent covid surge in Kingston, business has slowed and he won’t return to full-time work until May.

His priority now is to arrange a visa for Dasha to come to Canada as soon as possible. Please help him fund her onward journey and set up a new life in Canada. Dasha, a talented graphic designer, left everything she owned, her life, and her career when she fled the war. Help welcome her as a new member of our community and help Dasha rebuild her new life in Kingston.
