I am a single mother who has been in a financially and emotionally abusive relationship for a year.

I was finally able to leave the situation this week and took my 7 year old and all of our belongings from Lexington, KY (the state I have always lived in) and moved to Mount Pleasant, MI to live with a friend who can help me get back on my feet and show me what love and family is again.

My ex and I have a child in common who is classified as medically disabled. He was born in November of 2025 and his only home since then has been a hospital room.

Because I left my situation and went to Michigan, there are many upcoming court cases being held in my future regarding custody of my baby. I need help being able to go all the way back to KY for these court trials, and it may take a really long time. Please help me bring my baby home so I can take care of him.
