On Sunday May 5th, a parents worst nightmare happened to one of my best friends and her husband.

Damien was in Alabama spending time with his mom and step dad Johnna and Randy.

On this past sunny Sunday riding dirtbikes with friends  a freak accident occurred rendering Damien brain dead.  He is on life support right now as his family has made the selfless decision to donate their child's organs so that others may live and enjoy life like he did and enjoy it to the fullest.

The family has asked me to set up a go fund me page to help with funeral expenses and transportation costs for Damien to get back to Illinois.  Funeral arrangements are pending as I type this
