Help bring Dad's cremation home from Philippines

Donation protected
My father passed away unexpectedly in the Philippines on 6MAY2021, due to a motorcycle accident. We have been having difficulty getting his cremated remains back to the U.S., as the costs are high. We have figured out how to bring him back and are in the process of doing so. He was an Army Veteran, and I don't feel right leaving him to be buried in the Philippines, but rather grant him his wish to have a military burial, while providing his family the opportunity to lay him to rest and say our goodbyes. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

The funds will pay for the funeral home expenses incurred there. There is no cold morgues in the Philippines, so he was embalmed. I have been against a race for time to get a plan together for him to return to the U.S., within 9 days. Today is Day 7 in the Philippines. The cost for his current Casket, transportation from the hospital, and staying in the funeral home as long as he has been, is $2,400. Cost to cremate is $600. Cost to have fly him across the states is estimated to be $500, with all the documents and required sanitizatiom is another $2500. The remainder of the funds would go to 3 people in the Philippines that have helped us out tremendously, to reimburse their expenses of gas, clothes they bought to dress my dad in his casket, etc...

My dads lawyer, before he passed. He has provided legal representation for us in the Philippines to get his remains returned to us, free of charge.

A friend of a family member of ours in the Philippines, that lives 2.5 hours away from where my father is. She has reached out to help those trying to return my Dad's remains to the U.S.. This has provided much comfort to my family, as we do not know anyone there in the Philippines, and she has helped us navigate through this process. She is coordinating the flight home after cremation and providing communication to us on what is going on with my Dad's situation. God led us to her through his giant family.

My father's friends in the Philippines that helped him in his time of greatest need. I have been truly amazed by these two people that tracked down family in the U.S., about his untimely passing. They had spend hours searching the internet for someone to contact, drove miles too many locations. This includes picking up his body from the hospital, getting his death certificate, getting the police report, etc. They also were the ones that dressed him for his casket. They have showed love for someone that I have never seen before. Their passion for God and to do the right thing has been inspiring. The time and patience they have exerted with me, by talking for hours on end, late at night and early in the morning, provided a comfort to me that was greatly needed. I can't express enough of everything they have done for my dad.

If you are willing to support these 3 groups of people as well, that would be greatly appreciated. They have never asked me for money and I would like to show them some gratitude and am asking for your help with this entire matter.

Thank you!
