Hello!

My name is Jonna Lutz and I am a graduating film student at Ohio University. My final film project as a student is a Supernatural Western titled "Country of Ghosts."

Country of Ghosts follows cowboy Jack Clyde as he takes shelter from a blizzard. Inside a remote cabin, he meets Virginia Mae, a bounty hunter with a supernatural secret.

Based off of titles like Red Dead Redemption and The Hateful Eight, this western is packed with the tension, mystery, and horror of the wild west. Visually, the film is aiming for a dark, gothic approach. Candlelight and moonlight will glow in each scene, and with the help of costume and set design, the world beyond the screen will feel alive.

By donating, you will be directly assisting with feeding our hardworking crew and making sure our costumes, props, and sets are period-accurate and immersive as possible. You will also be supporting a project that is female-written/directed and has a crew of aspiring women in film!
