On December 29, 2025, Colleen Anne Pecek, age 43, passed away unexpectedly in North Miami, Florida. She was born in Euclid, Ohio, and is deeply loved and missed by her family.

Colleen was a gentle and compassionate person with a special love for animals—especially cats. She rescued and cared for them whenever she could, and those who knew her remember her sensitive heart and quiet kindness. She leaves behind her beloved black cat, Kitty, who was a constant source of comfort and companionship in her life.

Colleen’s family is facing not only the grief of losing a daughter and sister, but also the unexpected responsibility of out-of-state arrangements. There are currently limited funds available to bring Colleen home to Ohio and cover funeral expenses.
