Cheikh Dieng was a beloved member of our community who immigrated to America from Senegal in search of a better life. Tragically, Cheikh was found dead in his apartment, and the police autopsy revealed he was shot two times before his apartment was set on fire. His sudden and violent passing has left his family, friends, and all who knew him in deep shock and grief.

Cheikh leaves behind a loving wife and a young child who are now facing unimaginable loss and hardship. In this difficult time, we are coming together to honor Cheikh’s memory and support his family. The funds raised will be used to cover the shipping costs to return Cheikh to Senegal, so he can be laid to rest in his homeland surrounded by loved ones. Any additional support will go directly to his wife and child, helping them navigate the challenges ahead.
