Late last week, our family experienced heartbreaking loss by the sudden death of Charles Anthony, who passed away from a tragic accident in San Diego. Charles was just 30 years old. He loved the outdoors, who fiercely loved his family, and always looked out for his siblings and cousins. Growing up, he was known for his toughness and his big heart.

Charles faced many hardships, including the loss of close family members, and those losses weighed heavily on him these past few years. Despite everything, he remained a loving presence in our lives. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, and our family is struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.

We are now faced with the difficult task of bringing Charles home to Alaska from San Diego so we can say our final goodbyes. I am hoping to relieve some financial pressure off of my family during this time. This unexpected tragedy has left us unprepared for the additional costs involved in bringing him back home.
