Help Bring Carl Home to Colorado

Carl Fischer was a kind and soft-spoken man who touched the lives of everyone he met. He grew up in Coal Creek Canyon, Colorado, where he was known for his generosity and willingness to help anyone in need. Carl’s sense of humor and gentle nature made him a beloved friend and neighbor, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

Carl recently passed away in Puerto Rico, far from his family and the community that meant so much to him. His family and friends are hoping to bring him home to Colorado so he can be laid to rest with his parents in the family plot. This is a difficult time, especially with his daughters currently out of the country and me, his ex-wife, organizing things from Florida. Despite the challenges, I want to honor Carl’s memory and ensure he is surrounded by loved ones as he is laid to rest.

Funds raised will help cover the costs of transporting Carl’s body from Puerto Rico, funeral expenses, a gathering for his close friends and family in Colorado, and my travel expenses so I can be there for his service. My name is Lori Fischer, and I never stopped loving Carl. I always took care of him the best I could, and I don’t want to stop now. I have to be there to say goodbye.
