Hi, my name is Sequoia, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my beautiful cousin, Brittany Wise—an extraordinary woman whose life was tragically cut short.
Brittany was visiting from Georgia to Kissimmee, Florida to celebrate her son’s birthday and spend Mother’s Day weekend with family, something she was so excited about. What was meant to be a joyful time of love and togetherness quickly turned into an unimaginable tragedy.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 10, 2025, while crossing U.S. 17-92 in Osceola County, Brittany was struck by a vehicle and later passed away from her injuries. She was only 32 years old. Her life was full of light, love, and purpose.
Brittany was so much more than what happened to her. She was a vibrant, bubbly soul who lit up every room she walked into. She had the biggest smile and wasn’t afraid to show it. She loved being herself and never tried to be anyone else. She was a devoted mother, a loving wife, a proud sister, a playful auntie, and a true friend. She worked hard, loved harder, and brought joy to everyone she knew.
This loss is absolutely devastating for our entire family. As we grieve her sudden passing, we are also faced with the financial burden of bringing her home to Georgia for a proper burial. Her body is currently in Orlando, and the cost of transporting her, along with funeral and memorial expenses, is something we simply cannot manage alone.
