Help Bring BRADARET to Life at Brooklyn Art Haus
Donation protected
Hi and welcome to our fundraising page! We are Lucy Livingston and Bailey Nassetta, two Brooklyn-based theatre artists that have been collaborating for NINE YEARS! Together, we have built eight pieces of theatre/performance art and we are excited to fundraise for our ninth project: BRADARET, to be performed at Brooklyn Art Haus on December 13th & 14th 2024 (!!woohoo!!).
BRADARET is an immersive one person cabaret that follows a lax bro named Brad and his journey towards becoming a feminist masculine hero. The show uses drag, puppetry, clown and music to invite audiences to investigate how the patriarchy lives within them, begging the question, “Who is your Brad?”

BAILEY NASSETTA is a queer, Brooklyn-based artist at the intersection of theatre and education. She develops and directs immersive, interactive, interdisciplinary works with emerging and established playwrights and multi-hyphenate artists. The projects she works on draw inspiration from personal narratives that explore identity, healing, and resilience. At the heart of her practice is an ensemble-based approach that prioritizes mutual facilitation, artist agency, and collective accountability. Aesthetics emerge from a mission to make theatre that rewards BIG CRAZY IDEAS and packs a meaningful, introspective punch. Her work has been presented at the Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Art Haus, Theatre Row, Queens Theatre, Playwrights Horizon’s Downtown, The Kraine Theatre, The Deep End, Stonestreet Studios, The Upper Jay Arts Center, The Yard, and internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe. Her work has been recognized by the Puffin Foundation and her 2016 production of Tubular at the SheNYC Festival received an award for Best Ensemble. Her work has been in residency at Irondale Ensemble Project and CA+MP at UJAC.
