Dear friends, family, and compassionate individuals,

We, his children, are reaching out to you with heavy hearts as we share the news of a sudden and unexpected event that has shaken our family. Our beloved father, Jose, affectionately known as Bong, suffered a stroke while on vacation in Macau. On January 25th, he underwent an emergency thrombectomy and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Macau.

The road to recovery is uncertain, and it is unclear how long Papa will need to remain in the ICU or the hospital in Macau before we can bring him back home to Canada. The medical expenses have been accumulating rapidly, and we are faced with the added challenge of covering travel expenses to reunite him with our family.

We are creating this GoFundMe page to humbly ask for your support during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will go towards covering the medical expenses incurred in Macau and the travel expenses associated with bringing Papa back to Canada. Additionally, he will require rehabilitation upon his return, which will be an added cost that we are currently unprepared to meet.
