Hello dear friends and family,

My name is Bob Rustay. My parents, deceased, were Pat and Dick. I am writing to you today to ask for, what in today's economy is sacred, money. Let me tell you my story.

I am 63 years of age and spent 34 years working for the railroad as an electrician. I loved my job, but after that much time, I had pretty much worn out, so I took my retirement as soon as I was able. Once retired, there always seemed to be small health issues, but nothing too serious. That is until September 23.

On that day, I was sitting watching YouTube and waiting to see my pain management doctor. My wife came into the room to talk to me and almost recoiled from fright; the left side of my face had drooped. I had had a TIA of some sort, and it had finally made itself known. We went to the hospital immediately. I was having a difficult time recognizing things and finding the right words to say. I was constantly spouting gibberish.

I spent four days in the hospital, getting all the tests they could think of, but at the same time, I was hallucinating badly. The facial droop cleared up by the second day, and on the fourth day, I was released to recover at home.

I am seeing some specialists who are helping me get back to myself, but they are not covered by my insurance, and I am running up quite a bill.

I don't want to have to go it alone with my recovery. My doctors are doing great things for me. There is still one lingering problem: I am still hallucinating. It's like I'm living in the multiverse and my verse at the same time.

I realize this is an awkward time of year to ask for any donation, and I wouldn't do it if I didn't need to. Please take some time, and send whatever you can. Help me get back to being Bob.
