Help us bring our beloved dog Blue home so our family can say one last goodbye and lay him to rest.

Hi, my name is Rebecca, and I’m a lifelong pet lover. This fundraiser is for my beloved dog, Blue, who was not just a pet, but a cherished member of our family.

Blue passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on December 10, 2025. His loss has left an emptiness in our home and in our hearts that words can barely describe. He was my soul dog and my therapy dog, my children’s best friend, and the loving companion to our other dog, Luna they were like two swans together.

Unfortunately, at the time of Blue’s passing, I was already struggling financially. I am currently on EI sick benefits. Which has made it impossible for me to afford the costs associated with bringing Blue home.

At this moment, my dog Blue is still being held at the morgue. It breaks my heart knowing that he is not yet home with us in his final form. All I want is to give him the dignity, love, and farewell that he deserves.

I am hoping to raise funds to cover:

* Veterinary and cremation costs

* Private cremation

* Return of Blue’s ashes in an urn

* Sentimental paw prints and engraving

* A one-hour visit at the morgue so my children, myself, and our dog Luna can say our final goodbyes and say a prayer together

This visit is especially important because Luna has not had the chance to say goodbye to her companion, and animals grieve too. Giving her this moment may help her find the closure she never got.

* Procedure invoice: $1,237.07

* Additional cost - One-hour visitation for final goodbyes will be added to the invoice either by morgue or by veterinary hospital including tax): $350.00

* Total Goal to raise: $1,587.07
