Support Endangered Species – A Documentary by Black Women, for Black Women

Endangered Species is a powerful narrative documentary that explores the misogyny Black women face in media, education, and everyday life. Through compelling interviews, striking visuals, and spoken word narration, this film sheds light on the realities of misogynoir while celebrating the resilience of Black women.

Directed and executive produced by Anyiah Lobley, Endangered Species is a Black woman-led project, with a cast and crew dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices. This documentary not only tells an important story but also ensures that Black women are in control of how their narratives are shared.

Why We Need Your Support
To bring Endangered Species to life, we are raising $2,000 to cover essential production costs, including:

  • Equipment and props – Ensuring high-quality visuals that capture the essence of the film.
  • Transportation – Supporting our cast and crew in getting to filming locations.
  • Meals for cast and crew – Keeping our team fueled and focused during production.
  • Film festival submissions – Expanding the reach of Endangered Species so its message can be seen and heard on a larger scale.

Join Us in Making a Difference
Your contribution, no matter the amount, directly supports a film that challenges harmful narratives and uplifts Black women’s experiences. Together, we can ensure that Endangered Species makes an impact both on and off the screen.
