Bill's journey to now...On May 2nd, blood clots were discovered in both of Bill's lungs. Unfortunately, during lung surgery, his heart was accidentally punctured which necessitated open heart surgery. Bill spent more than a month at UCSD's Sulpizio Center, then three weeks in a skilled nursing facility. Following that, Bill was moved to a bed and care home for three weeks. He's now being evaluated for an assisted living facility.
