My name is Greer Prince and I am a senior film major at Belmont University. This 15-minute film will be my final senior project and the accumulation of my film education. I've put my whole heart into this story and can't wait to bring it to life.
However, in order to bring the best on-set experience to my actors and crew and realize this story to its greatest potential, we need your help.
“Bebe” is a story about grief, betrayal, intergenerational friendship, and finding new life in old age. Seventy-year-old Bernice LaBelle is alone for the first time after her long-time husband dies... in bed with a younger woman. Angry and unwilling to accept what happened, she meets a young and spunky mortician, Penny, who helps her to catch up on the years she missed out on.
Our ultimate fundraising goal is $3,000, which we will use for set decoration, craft services, location fees, our festival run, and much more.
Each and every donation, no matter how small, will help bring this story to life. Therefore, everyone who donates will have their name listed in the "Special Thanks" section of the film's credits.
Thank you ENDLESSLY for every contribution. You have no idea how far it goes.
Sincerely,
Greer :)
