Help Bring Balance To The Schwinns
Donation protected
If I've learned anything in this life, it's that it's OK to ask for help, and it's best to do that before things are broken. So here I am, extending my hand, asking for a modest amount of support to tide over a challenging phase. Enough to give us a chance to catch up and find steadier footing.
The last three years have been a rollercoaster of events. We managed to hold our ground during the first years of the pandemic, but an unexpected turn of events thrust us into a battle for paid family leave—a battle that remains unresolved. Concurrently, the strikes began, and while their impact wasn't immediate, the ripple effects are undeniably hitting us now.
The reality is, our savings are dwindling, and the specter of bankruptcy looms ever closer. While we are grateful for the EBT assistance that covers our food expenses, the pile of unpaid bills for basic utilities like gas, power, and water is growing. Our credit accounts are stretched thin, and the financial strain is palpable.
I am optimistic that work opportunities will resurface before the year ends, but the road to that point is rugged and uncertain. This is why I'm extending this ask for support. If you'd be so kind as to donate or share this with friends, we'd be forever grateful. And if there’s any freelance work available, I am more than willing to earn my keep.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your generosity, whether in the form of a donation, sharing this appeal, or offering freelance work, is a beacon of hope in these trying times.
Thank you from the depths of our hearts,
The Schwinns
