Help Bring Joel Back to the Philippines

Hello, my name is Crischa Caminos. I am Joel's sister, and I am asking for help to cover the costs of bringing his body back to the Philippines. Most of our family lives there and would like to see for the last time. I would also like to ask for help on behalf of his bereaved wife, April, to help her stand on her own feet again. Joel will be truly missed by all.

Back in 2019, Joel moved here as an international student. He did this for the future of his family. April then followed him after 6 months - doing this, they had to leave their only child (at that time) with my parents. It was really hard for them, but they had to do it for their future.

Everything was going well until January 19, 2022 - when we received a call from the police that Joel had collapsed and died at work. He was only 32 years old, very young. He is now at the hospital and is waiting to get an autopsy.

April is currently pregnant with their second child, this is very hard for her, but our family is trying our best to support her any way we can. Joel's dream has always been to bring his son to Canada after getting PR. He was a registered nurse in the Philippines; he always made sure everyone was taken care of - he forgot to take care of his own health.

Joel doesn't have any insurance; any amount will help and will be greatly appreciated.
