I was born in the fertile Parish of St. Elizabeth, known as the “Food Basket of Jamaica.” Recently, Hurricane Melissa caused severe damage across the parish-flooding streets, homes, farms, and churches, and devastating countless lives.
I am committed to helping our communities recover, but this catastrophic event is too great for any one person to face alone. Rural areas, such as Claremont, is particularly hard-hit and must not be forgotten.
Any support, no matter how small, will make a real difference. Funds raised will be used to provide food and household essentials through packed barrels and boxes, as well as to rebuild damaged homes with materials such as galvanized metal and tarpaulin.
Please join us in helping lift these communities and restore hope after this disaster.
