Help Bring Axel's Song to Life

Hi everyone! I’m SquishyBun, the creator of "Punk Rock Candy" on Webtoon, and I have something special in mind that will bring the story even more to life: I want to commission an original song from the comic to be performed by a real-life musician!

One of the characters in the story, a brooding rock singer named Axel Nakamura, sings a song he wrote called "Wrong Place, Right Time" in episode 2-15. Many of my amazing readers have shown the lyrics a lot of love, and I want that moment to feel truly real by having the song actually performed by a talented rock singer and listenable for everyone. That’s where you come in!

What’s This Project About?

I’m currently in talks with an awesome freelance musician to create the official track, making it into something that reflects the emotion, story, and style of the character Axel.

However, since music production costs money, as an independent creator I’m asking for a little help from the community to fund this special part of the Webtoon.

Why Support This Project?

This song is an important part of the story, a real moment where you get to hear one of the main characters express what he is feeling. It is my personal belief that music adds an emotional layer, one that I can’t reach with art and text alone.

Timeline

If funded, the musician will begin working on the track right away. The goal is to have it completed within *two weeks* of the campaign ending. I’ll keep you updated on its progress along the way!
