To my Family and Friends
Its hard for me to come forward with this but my partner, Axel Sanchez has been taken away by ICE. Axel as many of you know him is a loving and caring person, a wonderful dad, an incredible partner. He’s the type of person to always be there for you no matter what, at this point we still can’t believe this is happening. On Sunday Dec 28, 2025 he was detained and we had to wait four months for his charges to be dropped. Just as we thought he was finally getting out , ICE took him , and now everything has turned upside down again.
His absence has been incredibly difficult in our family. I can’t describe how it feels seeing our son go from waking up in the mornings and the first word out will be “papá” with a huge smile waiting for him to pick him up before he left for work and now he has to see him trough a camara not understanding why he can touch him trough the screen - Every day without him is a struggle, and we all miss him deeply. It’s been too long already and now we are facing more legal fees and bail bond costs as we work with lawyers to bring him home. The financial burden has been overwhelming at this point, and we are doing everything we can to reunite our family. The funds raised will go directly toward covering his legal expenses and bail, helping us move one step closer to having him back where he belongs.
We are reaching out to our friends, family, and anyone who can help during this incredibly difficult time. Any support, no matter the amount, brings us closer to reuniting our family. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Me a resultado difícil dar este paso y compartir esto públicamente, pero mi pareja, Axel Sánchez, ha sido detenido por ICE. Axel —como muchos de ustedes lo conocen— es una persona amorosa y atenta, un padre maravilloso y una pareja increíble. Es el tipo de persona que siempre está ahí para ti, pase lo que pase; a estas alturas, todavía no podemos creer que esto esté sucediendo. El domingo 28 de diciembre de 2025, fue detenido y tuvimos que esperar cuatro meses para que le retiraran los cargos en su contra. Justo cuando pensábamos que finalmente iba a salir, ICE se lo llevó, y ahora todo dió 10 pasos atrás.
Su ausencia ha sido increíblemente difícil para nuestra familia. No puedo describir lo que se siente ver a nuestro hijo pasar de despertarse por las mañanas —siendo «papá» la primera palabra que pronunciaba, con una enorme sonrisa, esperando que él lo cargara antes de irse a trabajar— a tener que verlo ahora a través de una cámara, sin entender por qué no puede tocarlo a través de la pantalla. Cada día sin él es una lucha, y lo extrañamos profundamente. Ya ha pasado demasiado tiempo y ahora nos enfrentamos a honorarios legales y costos de fianza mientras trabajamos con abogados para traerlo de vuelta a casa. La carga financiera ha resultado abrumadora en este momento, y estamos haciendo todo lo posible para reunir a nuestra familia. Los fondos recaudados se destinarán directamente a cubrir sus gastos legales y la fianza, ayudándonos a dar un paso más para tenerlo de regreso donde pertenece.
