Help Bring an Aussie Theatre Spectacular to the World

My name is Jason. For the past decade I’ve been battling — sometimes quietly, sometimes desperately — to bring a dream to life.

For many years, I hid my musical ambitions to keep my family stable. I buried the part of me that needed to create, perform, and build something extraordinary. The day my family broke apart, the idea for a concert‑style theatre spectacular hit me out of the blue - it felt like the heavens opening.

I had little money, no backing, no connections — just a vision.
But I built the show anyway.

And then came the setbacks — the kind that knock the wind out of you.

Difficulties with bookers and agents.
Lost opportunities I’d been promised.
COVID wiped out years of momentum.
I lost $22,000 in a single night performing at my hometown theatre.
My family relationships fractured under the strain.

And through all of this, I kept building the show.

For nearly three years, I didn’t have a stable home.
I lived out of a two‑door car for a time, and now in a 6×8 metre shed.

I work nightshifts as a Registered Nurse, rebuilding my life from the ground up and keeping the show afloat. I'm supporting others in need as best I can.

Despite everything, the show grew.
It became polished, theatrical, world‑class.
People who saw it said, “This belongs in major theatres”.

And then something unbelievable happened.

A legendary music manager — someone who has shaped global music history — discovered my show.
He wrote about it publicly.
He featured my image.
He spoke with me for hours about how it can succeed in the UK and Europe.
And he said:

“Produce a new showreel, get yourself to the UK, and I will help you.”

He says the show is commercially viable.
He says the earning potential is substantial.

For the first time in a decade, someone at the sharp end of the industry said, “Yes. This is real. This can happen”.

And the only thing standing between me and that opportunity is money.

A new showreel — filmed properly, in a theatre, with a professional crew — costs at least $10,000.

I’m negotiating with the venue for the date.
I’ve secured the film crew.
I’ve assembled the cast.

Everything is just about ready.
Everything is finally within reach.

I’m not asking for charity.
I’m asking for help to take the final step in a journey I’ve fought for since 2013.

If you’ve ever cheered for an Aussie underdog…
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of a story where someone gets back up after being knocked down…

Then please help me now.

Your support will help me:

film the showreel
base the show in the UK and Europe
seize the opportunity I’ve waited years for
rebuild the future I’ve been fighting toward
show my child I didn’t give up

As a thank‑you, I’ll include your name in the showreel credits and on our website.

Thank you for reading.
And thank you, sincerely, for helping me take this dream the final few inches across the line.
