Help bring Athena to the UK

Hi everyone! My name is Gabi & I am looking for help to bring a stray kitten I found in St Kitts to her new life in the U.K.

On day one of my holiday we found a stray 6 month old kitten at our holiday hotel, wondering around the property, and seeing the kitten being chased off the premises. A couple or so hours later on our way to get some shopping we found her on the roadside crying loudly with an injury on her nose from what appears to have been another stray, whether cat or dog, we’re unsure as Saint Kitts, our holiday, is known for roaming packs of dog packs which we know and have seen them hunt and eat young cats. We brought her back to the resort and thought she’d be safe around the property. Later on in the day, we noticed the kitten back around the resort hanging around the pool, where she settled down on our table with us. After a while we tried to stop her from following us but she persisted and subsequently settled with us in our accommodation. Ever since then, we took the decision to formally adopt her and bring her with us to the U.K. However, we’ve encountered a conglomerated bureaucratic nightmare from our airlines in trying to bring her with us by this Tuesday. Being bounced from administrative pillar to post through various departments and no one has been able to offer any practical assistance. Coupled with this, we’ve already had her vaccinated, chipped, and checked over ready for the move to her potential new home. We have named her Athena, a beautiful 6 month old kitten with a lovely black and white coat, and a playful attitude, already well adjusted to a home based lifestyle. We are currently in the middle of arranging for transport and relocation to the U.K. coupled with paying her medical bills and finalising her stay in the quarantine until cleared of any potential diseases. We cannot stress the urgency of our calling out to any kind hearted people who would happily help, with whatever they can spare. I have never used a Go Fund Me but again, it is an urgent request. We know times are tough and many may think, “why should we help” or “we want to, but can’t” and that’s fine. However, I’ve always valued the sanctity of all life which I truly believe is extended to all forms of life, including animals. The potential funds we can gather, even if £5, will go a long way to bringing us one step closer to bringing an innocent creature to a loving home with lots of love and cuddles.
