The creator of the project, Narek Sargsyan, is an artist, PR specialist, and art photographer, as well as the founder of Artsakh Promotion. His creative path includes visual storytelling, promotion of cultural initiatives, and community projects aimed at preserving and presenting Armenian identity through a modern lens. Narek and his friends, after relocating to Yerevan, found themselves in a new environment, facing challenges and searching for something to bring light and hope into their lives. Animation became that source of comfort—a way to reconnect with their roots and share kindness, hope, and wonder with others. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a mission to help children, especially those in the Diaspora, stay connected to their Armenian heritage.
ArTever was born out of concern that Armenian fairy tales and oral heritage are gradually fading into the background—especially among children who are growing up primarily influenced by foreign-language and foreign cultural content. This issue is even more pronounced for children living in the Diaspora, many of whom lack access to high-quality Armenian animated content that is both engaging and culturally meaningful. ArTever aims to become a bridge between children and their Armenian roots—transmitting language, values, kindness, and identity through animation. We believe that Armenian fairy tales, when presented in a modern format, can not only be preserved but also become beloved and relevant for the new generation.
Funds raised will support scriptwriting, character and visual design, animation production, sound design, music, marketing, and distribution—helping bring 27 animated films to life and making Armenian stories accessible to children and families everywhere. By supporting this project, you are not just funding animation—you are helping preserve a culture, inspire future generations, and share meaningful stories with the world. Please join us in making this vision a reality.
