For The Love Of Appalachia was founded in September 2024 by Lance Rogers from Kentucky, and Katja Deeds from England, to raise funds through sponsorship to enable emerging Appalachian artists to come to the UK for their first tour.

These funds are used to cover travel & accommodation costs, a run of shows is booked and transportation arranged, leaving the artists to enjoy their visit and first time in the UK without the stress of tour logistics. We even factor in time for exploring the sights!

For the Love of Appalachia is a bridge built from guitar strings and smoke trails, connecting the soul of the Appalachian mountains to audiences across the UK. We champion independent Appalachian artists by bringing them on sponsored tours that amplify unheard voices, and celebrate the raw beauty of storytelling through song. This is a space where porchlight warmth meets stage light fire, and every performance carries the heartbeat of home.
