My good friend and physical therapist colleague, Anna Fortin, moved to the Falls Church, VA, from Ukraine more than 20 years ago. Her parents, however, have been stuck in the middle of the terrible war that's tearing the country apart.

Anna is going into debt to bring them here -- it cost her $5,000 just to have someone drive them from eastern Ukraine to Warsaw, Poland. Beyond that, there are airline tickets to pay for and financial support to provide once her parents are here.

There may be little that each of us can do on a worldwide scale to end this conflict, but I know that, on a personal level, any contributions will help Anna and her family. We realize there has been severe deceptive fundraising around the Ukraine tragedy, so we don't expect anyone who doesn't know us personally to donate to this effort.
