Help Bring Andrea's Garden to Life

We are a memorial garden being built for our founder and head coach, Andrea Hassel. Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. At that point was given 1-5 years life expectancy. She underwent surgery and treatment. In 2022 her cancer had come back and she was given a terminal status. You may have seen our previous campaign for our fencing! We met and surpassed that goal! Thank you everyone who is helping us make this project come to life. This garden is Andrea’s vision. We will have a healing area with a fountain and benches. We will have a pond, lots of flowers, raised vegetable beds, walking paths and areas to hold community events.

Andrea was not able to see us break ground on her garden. She passed away surrounded by her family on April 16,

2025. Her family has asked that memorials be directed to Andrea’s Garden. While the planning is complete, we now need to put our plans into action. This campaign is geared to help us with getting the electrical set up for our fountain and other power source needs- Christmas Tree lights, projector and speakers for movie nights, as well as obtaining the equipment needed to prep the areas for planting! Please consider donating to our garden. Once completed we will be a wonderful place for the community to come and host activities, or side quietly and reflect next to the waterfalls.
