It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Amala Haridevan Mother of Amal Dev & Harikrishna, who passed away in Brampton in the early hours of April 10.
Amala came to Canada on a short visit to Canada— a mother looking forward to spending precious time with her sons, Amaldev and Harikrishnan, both students building their dreams here. What was meant to be a time of warmth, laughter, and togetherness has turned into an unimaginable tragedy.
In a foreign land, far away from family and familiar support systems, her sons are now facing the most difficult moment of their lives — saying goodbye to their mother.
Their only wish now is to take their mother back home to Kerala, where she can rest peacefully among loved ones, traditions, and the place she called home.
But the cost of transporting mortal remains internationally is overwhelming, especially for two young students navigating life on their own in Canada.
We are reaching out to our community — friends, well-wishers, and kind-hearted strangers — to come together and support Amaldev and Harikrishnan in this painful time.
No contribution is too small. Every dollar brings Amala closer to home.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help us reach more people.
Let’s stand together and show them that they are not alone.
Help us bring Amala back home.
