Our family is heartbroken by the sudden loss of Alfred Lopes, a big-hearted individual who always put others before himself. Even when he didn’t have much, Alfred gave his all to the people he loved most. He was known for his good vibes, his ability to lift spirits even on tough days, and his deep love for family—especially his nieces and nephews, who helped him feel closer to his own son. Working on vehicles was a family tradition, and Alfred never hesitated to lend a hand when someone needed help.

At just 42 years old, Alfred was struck by a vehicle while walking home on Friday night and sadly passed away on Sunday night. The shock of his passing has left our family reeling, and we are now facing the difficult task of bringing him back home from Oahu to Kauai. We are seeking support to help cover the costs of cremation, funeral expenses, and the journey to reunite him with our family and community.
