Help Bring Alex Home for His Final Rest

Donation protected
On October 9 at 11:30 PM, I received every mother's nightmare. My son had been killed absolutely for no reason. He had just gotten home from work. Like every night, he would come in and say hello to everyone and give everyone kisses. Then he went outside to just chill after working both jobs that day. Someone had walked up to the porch and began shooting. Alex succumbed to a fatal gunshot to the head. This vision plays in my head daily.

He always wanted to be a chef, a wonderful husband, and the best dad he could. During his 29 years of life, he accomplished all of that and then some. He had a great work ethic, and everyone that knew him loved him. He was always so laid back, even when the kids were all crying at one time. Having a nonverbal autistic child made him the most patient man. It was truly priceless to watch him with his babies.

We are working to get him home from Louisiana and buried next to his granny. He would have loved nothing more than that. He loved his granny and always teased everyone that he was the favorite. He is definitely special and loved his little family like I have never seen. I would often watch him and just smile. He made my heart happy watching him give his best to all that loved him.

His body will be released to a local funeral home in Slidell, LA, where he will then be flown home to Georgia. Services will be at West Cobb Funeral Home once we get everything arranged. Unfortunately, due to no life insurance, we are asking for help. Any amount will help. If you can't donate, that is ok too. Just pray for our family.
