I initiated this fund raiser to bring my granddaughter Abigail Burnette home to Atlanta for medical treatment. She suffered Covid while in Italy on vacation. She was hospitalized with sever psychosis side effects and is not allowed to fly commercial in her medical condition.

After a week of care in hospital ER, she was released for 2 days. Just today, she was re-admitted to the hospital with no improvement. It is clear that Abigail will need to get care in America and the only way to return is by private transport, which cost $125,000-$200,000

It's too early to know exactly what to expect, but already unforeseen expenses that are mounting.
