Hello Everyone!!!

We are CSULA’s All Female & Non-Binary Film Team, a student-run group dedicated to creating inclusive sets where underrepresented filmmakers can learn, collaborate, and take leadership roles in film production! Our mission is to give women and non-binary creatives a space to direct, write, shoot, and produce stories with authenticity and visibility in an industry that often overlooks them.

This semester, we are producing our short film A Reason to Stay, written and directed by students on our team.

The film follows Alex and Andrea, two women caught between love, timing, and the pain of letting go. Set in a single emotional night, the story explores heartbreak, identity, and the weight of choosing between the life you built and the love you never stopped feeling.

As a fully student-produced film, every dollar directly helps us make this project possible!
