Hi everyone, I’m starting a GoFundMe for a friend to pay for transportation costs to bring a new Himalayan kitten from Edmonton, Alberta to Port Townsend, Washington or SeaTac Airport. When her previous kitten Daphne died, her breeder, Valley Himalayans, immediately offered to give her a replacement kitten. This was great news, especially since she is really, really missing Daphne, who was her Emotional Support Animal and was enormously loving and affectionate. Her other cat (Olivia) is definitely not ESA material. While Olivia is outrageously entertaining, she is more of a “don’t you dare touch me” kitty and strongly objects to being touched whenever someone tries to pet her by cringe-walking away.

I’m raising funds to cover the cost of travel since she is unable to travel herself due to her chronic illness. I’m also looking for someone to travel to Edmonton and deliver the kitten to her. As it happens, there is a possible kitten who will be ready to travel starting this week, so we’re hoping to move on this quickly.

Any funds not used for travel expenses will be used for food, toys, etc. for the kitten.
