Help Bring A Mother's Ashes Home

I can't believe I'm typing these words, but on December 5th 2024 my mother, Bobbie McElroy, passed away in a facility in Charleston South Carolina. I did not even know she was there, as she left strict instructions not to notify me until her passing. I understand that she did not want me to deal with anxiety of what was to come and the grief of it all until absolutely necessary, but my heart is still extremely broken never-the-less. I would give just about anything to see her one last time and tell her that I love her more than anyone could possibly imagine.

I have been unemployed for quite some time, and I am a single mother of three children. I was already struggling to make Christmas happen, and I do not have a penny to my name to pay for her cremation. Anything you can give would be the greatest gift anyone could ever give me. I'm so afraid that I will never get to hold my mom's ashes in my arms and they are literally the only thing I have left of her. Please, please if there is anything you can do to help me get her home safely to me then I would be forever grateful. She was a single mom and I never knew any of my other family. She was the only person I ever had, and I just really want to bring her home.

Anything donated will go straight to her cremation, and then to the fees associated with her transfer to the funeral home, and then to travel expenses to drive up to South Carolina to retrieve her. If anything is left over I'd like to have a keepsake made, and then I'd like to find a way to have her ashes spread with her beloved wiener dog, Zeus, like she had always wanted.
