Hello, my name is Bill Gibb. I am a junior at SCAD, and I will be directing the surreal dark comedy short A Long Night Out!
A Long Night Out follows Steve, a chronic alcoholic who went from having a night of drinking, hitting on a bartender, and several near-death experiences, to explaining to his roommate why a dead man is now in the house. The film explores the consequences and how they can stem from our past mistakes. This film's format will also blur the line between reality and what is just in our lead's head, much like the feeling of being drunk. By the film's end, you will ask yourself: "How did the man die?"
As excited as I am to direct this project, I cannot do it alone. We are going to need your help funding it! Your generous donations will go to various expenses, including, but not limited to:
- Catering for our outstanding Cast and Crew.
- Locations
- Props, Costumes, Production Design.
- Marketing
- Festival Submissions.
But what do you get out of this? You can also receive a perk(s) based on the amount of your donation.
- $10 = A digital copy of the finished film.
- $20 = Name in the credits
- $50 = Invitation to the premiere screening
- $100 = Signed Cast and Crew Poster
- $150 = Personal Easter Egg in the film
- $500 = Executive Producer Credit
This film means the world to me, and I would love to see it on the big screen more than anything, knowing it could've never happened without your support. So what are you waiting for? Donate now!
And remember:
It's not over until the hangover!
