Help Bring “A Call Away” to Life

Hello, my name is Michael D. Stehl, and I’ve been working in the independent film industry here in Arizona since 2019. I first started this journey with my twin brother, Nicholas, working on film festivals, and since then I’ve been fortunate to be part of a number of short films, features, testimonials, and live productions.

Now, as a screenwriter and filmmaker, I’m developing my own short romantic drama film: A Call Away. We’re in the final stretch of pre-production and gearing up to shoot this October. This story is deeply personal to me, and I want to ensure that every detail — from performances to production design — is as powerful and moving as it can be.

My production company, Twin Sons Productions (a dream come true for my brother and I), will be leading this project. While we’ve worked hard to bring together resources and support, independent filmmaking often requires going the extra mile to cover unexpected needs and bring the vision to its fullest potential. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help.

Supporting this campaign isn’t just about making one film — it’s about investing in the local arts and encouraging a young filmmaker with big ambitions. A Call Away is just the beginning. I plan to continue creating stories — including feature films — that will reach wider audiences and, down the line, have the potential for return on investment. More than that, I want to build lasting relationships with those who show tremendous support and share this journey together as Twin Sons Productions grows.
